Outwardly. The required amount of ointment (2-4 g, which corresponds to the volume of a large cherry) is rubbed into the painful areas of the skin. If necessary, the procedure is repeated after a few hours (up to 3 times a day). Course duration (without consulting a doctor) is up to 10 days.

The drug causes skin hyperemia and reflexively increases blood circulation in the subcutaneous tissue, thus, combined use with other topical drugs may lead to increased absorption. The use of large amounts may increase the toxicity of methotrexate and reduce the therapeutic effect of hypoglycemic agents. The drug should not be used with oral anticoagulants.
