Active ingredient

Composition

1 film-coated tablet contains:
active substance: bisacodyl 5 mg.

How to take, the dosage

Bisacodyl tablets are taken orally before going to bed, regardless of the time of the meal. The tablet should be swallowed without chewing!
Dose for adults: 1-3 tablets (5-15 mg) at a time. If the laxative effect is insufficient, the drug is taken additionally the next morning – 1-2 tablets (5-10 mg).
Dose for children over 6 years: 1 tablet (5 mg).

Special Instructions

With caution use the drug in pregnant and lactating women, in patients with liver and/or kidney disease, as well as in patients with suspected inflammatory bowel disease.
The drug should not be used for more than 7 days without special instructions from the doctor.

Contraindications

Side effects

Allergic reactions are possible.

In the gastrointestinal tract spastic abdominal pain, diarrhea are possible, which may lead to dehydration of the body, electrolyte imbalance.

The use of high doses or prolonged use of bisacodyl may lead to the development of intestinal atony.
