Features of the dietary supplement Bifidum-Multi®-1 are associated with the species composition of bifidobacteria, which provides for the colonization of exactly those species of bifidobacteria which are physiological for children from 0 to 3 years old.

In this age period in the microflora of the gastrointestinal tract bifidobacteria are predominant (almost 100%), and their lack and change of species composition seriously affects the child’s health and may cause the formation of infectious, allergic, immunopathological conditions in the child.

Bifidobacteria play an important role in the homeostasis of a child under the age of 1 year when the enzymatic, hormonal and immune systems are only being formed.

Bifidum-Multi®-1 contains 6 different strains of bifidus bacteria, each of which has unique properties that are combined in one product, so that Bifidum-Multi®-1 has a multifactorial regulatory and stimulating effect on the child’s body: supports the composition and number of microbiota and actively suppresses the growth of pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microorganisms by producing substances with antibacterial properties – bacteriocins, organic acids, hydrogen peroxide; normalizes the functional activity of the gastrointestinal tract; improves metabolic processes by actively supporting processes of fasting digestion; regulates electrolyte and gas exchange; synthesizes amino acids and vitamins; removes toxins from the body; increases nonspecific resistance of the organism.

Maltodextrin, also part of the Bifidum-Multi-1 is a mixture of glucose, maltose, oligosaccharides. It is the most common component in the diet of children from the first year of life due to its valuable properties:

• It is well absorbed by the body of the child;

• It allows not to add sugar at all or add it in smaller amounts, thanks to its sweet taste;<
• It is not broken down by gastric juice, its action is similar to that of dietary fiber, which improves the motility of the gastrointestinal tract, removes toxins and impurities, gets rid of constipation;
• Based on the slow rate of breakdown of maltodextrin, the child’s body is long provided with glucose
• Stimulates the growth of beneficial intestinal microflora (bifidobacteria), with a positive effect on digestion in general, helping to prevent dysbiosis.

Composition

Maltodextrin;

Multiprobiotic complex – 6 strains of bifidobacteria belonging to the species B. bifidum,

B. breve,

B. infantis.

The content of bifidobacteria – at least 1 × 108 CFU/g.

How to take, the dosage

Children from birth to 3 years: 1 capsule (pour the contents into a dry clean spoon) 2-3 times a day with meals, pre-dissolved in 10 ml of liquid at room temperature (boiled water, breast milk, juice).

It is allowed to add to baby food. It is not allowed to take with hot food or liquid.

DURATION: 20-30 days. It can be taken 2 or 3 times a year.
