Bicalutamide, 150 mg 30 pcs

• Proliferative prostate cancer in combination with a GnRH (gonadotropin-releasing hormone) analogue or surgical castration.

• Multiple prostate cancer (T3-T4, any N, M0; T1-T2, N+, M0) as monotherapy or adjuvant therapy in combination with radical prostatectomy or radiotherapy.

• Metastatic non-metastatic prostate cancer in cases where surgical castration or other medical interventions are inapplicable or unacceptable.

How to take, the dosage

Ingestion, regardless of meals, with plenty of fluid.

Adult and elderly men:

In advanced prostate cancer in combination with GnRH analogue or surgical castration: orally, 50 mg once daily. The treatment should be started simultaneously or 3 days before starting GnRH analogue or simultaneously with surgical castration.

In locally advanced prostate cancer: Orally, 150 mg once daily. Bicalutamide should be taken long-term, for at least 2 years. Stop if there are signs of disease progression.

Contraindications

High sensitivity to bicalutamide and its excipients;

concomitant use with terfenadine, astemizole, and cisapride;

bicalutamide should not be prescribed for children and women.
