Berocca® Plus is a special vitamin complex to support mental and physical performance.

It improves memory, attention and information processing speed. Helps you react, think and act faster. Increases resistance to stress. Used for conditions with a deficiency or increased need for B vitamins, vitamin C and zinc.

All B vitamins are provided in optimal doses to support mental performance, speed of reaction, nervous system health and proper energy production by body cells.

How to take, the dosage

Ingestion. Film-coated tablets with water. Fizzy tablets are dissolved in a glass of water.

Adults and children over 15 years of age take 1 tablet a day.

The recommended duration of the course is 30 days. Repeated courses – on the doctor’s recommendation.

Special Instructions

Vitamin C may affect the results of urine glucose tests, even though it does not affect blood sugar levels. You should stop taking vitamin C several days before these tests.

Yellow coloring of urine is possible, which has no clinical significance and is explained by the presence of riboflavin in the drug.

The drug does not contain fat-soluble vitamins. One tablet of the drug contains the maximum daily dose of vitamin B6 (pyridoxine), so do not exceed the recommended doses of the drug.

One tablet contains 12.5% of the recommended daily calcium intake and 33.3% of the recommended daily magnesium intake. But taking Berocca* Plus alone is not enough to treat calcium and magnesium deficiency.

One tablet has 272 mg of sodium, so we recommend that patients on a low-salt diet take Berocca Plus as coated tablets.

Information for diabetics

One tablet of the product contains 276 mg of mannitol, which corresponds to 0,028 bread units (BE) and the caloric value of 0.66 kcal, therefore it can be taken by patients with diabetes. Patients taking other drugs should talk to their physician before taking Berocca* Plus.

Influence on ability to drive vehicles and other mechanisms requiring increased concentration

No effect.

Synopsis

Contraindications

– hypersensitivity to the components of the drug,

– hypercalcemia, hypermagnesemia,

– urolithiasis (nephrolithiasis, urolithiasis),

– hemochromatosis,

– hyperoxaluria,

disordered renal function,

– glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency,

– fructose intolerance, age less than 15 years.

With caution:in atrophic gastritis, intestinal diseases, pancreatic diseases, vitamin B12 malabsorption syndrome.

Pregnancy use

When using the drug Berocca” Plus in the recommended dosage, no data on the negative effect of the drug on pregnancy or child health have been found. However, during pregnancy the drug should be taken strictly on medical advice.

The vitamins and minerals contained in the drug Berocca” Plus pass into the breast milk. There is no data on the safety of the drug when using it during lactation.
