Tissue regeneration stimulant.

Pharmacological action

Dexpanthenol is quickly converted in the skin cells into pantothenic acid which is a component of coenzyme A and plays an important role both in the formation and healing of damaged skin.

Stimulates skin regeneration and normalizes cell metabolism.

Pharmacokinetics

Dexpanthenol is quickly absorbed by the skin (quickly absorbed) and converted to pantothenic acid.

Bound to plasma proteins (mainly albumin and β-globulin).

Pantothenic acid is not metabolized in the body and is excreted unchanged.

Composition

The cream for external use is 5% white to white with a yellowish tint, soft, elastic, homogeneous, matte, with a faint specific smell.

How to take, the dosage

Dosage and administration

Applied externally. The cream is applied in a thin layer to the affected surface and rubbed in gently. It is used 1 to 2 times a day.

The dosing schedule for different age groups

Milk care for breastfeeding mothers: Apply the cream to the nipples after each feeding.

Infant care: apply the cream with each diaper change.
