Bandages produced by TONUS ELAST are intended for prevention and treatment of chronic vein diseases (compression therapy), for prevention of injuries of joints, ligaments and muscles at physical loads (static and dynamic), for posttraumatic rehabilitation as well as for quick first aid (fixation of injured body parts).

High tensile bandages (stretching capacity not less than 150%) are used for the treatment of varicose veins of stage I and II, for treatment of lipodermic diseases and are applied in post-operative period in case of lymphoedema, for keeping the joints at rest after injuries and operations and are recommended for bandaging of bed-ridden patients.

Specialists define it as the enlargement of surface veins, accompanied by poor blood flow. Bandaging not only promotes the healing of trophic ulcers, but is also an effective preventive measure: the pressure of the bandage in combination with body movements approximately doubles the speed of the blood flow, reviving metabolic processes.
