Aqua Maris Leica device+30 sachet of sea salt

The Aqua Maris® Leica nasal lavage device provides effective and gentle clearing of mucus and foreign particles from the nasopharynx and is recommended for use:

– for acute and chronic rhinitis

– for acute respiratory infections

– for allergic rhinitis

– in acute and chronic maxillary sinusitis, rhinitis, ethmoiditis

– in adenoiditis

– in cases of extremely dry nasal mucous membranes and crusts

– frequently ill patients

– after surgical operations on the nasal cavity (by doctor’s recommendation).

Directions for use

Cut the sachet and pour the sea salt into the device.

Fill the device with boiling water at body temperature up to the mark and stir until the salt has dissolved.

Place yourself comfortably in front of the sink. Tilt your head forward and turn slightly to the side.

Please take a deep breath and hold your breath. Place the tip of the device against the nostril above, so that it’s pressed tightly against it.

Tilt the device so that the solution begins to flow from the tip of the device into your nasal passage. The solution will flow out of the opposite nostril.

To remove any residual solution from your nose, blow your nose without changing the position of your head.

Then blow your nose in a straight position.

Repeat with the other nostril.

Rinse with cool water after use and dry well. It is recommended to use the sea salt solution daily.

Synopsis

The Aqua Maris® Leica device is a 330 ml plastic container for preparation of the nasal rinse solution in a set with Aqua Maris® rinsing agent in the form of 30 sachets of Adriatic Sea salt. 1 sachet contains 2,97g of sea salt.

The otorhinolaryngological device Aqua Maris® Leica allows convenient and safe rinsing of the nose along the entire length of the nasal passages.

The flushing fluid is delivered into the nasal cavity “by gravity” i.e. without additional pressure which prevents such complications as middle ear inflammation (otitis media).

The procedure is simple and safe even for children, pregnant and nursing women.

In nasal cavity washing with Aqua Maris® Leica device removes pathological content from the nasal mucosa along with viruses, bacteria, allergens and dusts while reducing swelling and inflammation and increasing capillary tone.
