L-carnitine
In the male reproductive system, L-carnitine is concentrated in the testicular appendage and sperm cells.
It is a natural vitamin-like substance (vitamin B11 or vitamin T) which provides energy for the whole process of spermatogenesis (the process of creation of spermatozoa) and directly influences the ability of men to conceive.
L-carnitine is able to inhibit oxidative stress, which is important in the development of idiopathic male infertility. Taking L-carnitine improves motility and increases sperm production.
L-arginine
It is the biologically active isomer of the amino acid arginine, which is conditionally essential.
The proteins of the seminal fluid contain up to 80% of L-arginine, so this amino acid is very important in male sexual function and its deficiency can lead to impaired spermatogenesis and infertility.
L-arginine supplementation may have beneficial effects on the health of the prostate gland and increases spermatogenesis (production and quality of sperm).
L-arginine is also very active in the regulation of sexual function and as a precursor of nitric oxide it improves blood flow within the male genital tract and helps normalize erections.
Coenzyme Q10
Coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinone) is an essential element in the synthesis of biochemical energy carriers. Coenzyme Q10 supplementation is effective at high physical activity and increases endurance.
Coenzyme Q10 is a powerful antioxidant, in addition, it has the ability to restore the activity of other antioxidants, in particular α-tocopherol (vitamin E).
Coenzyme Q10 has clinically proven synergism with L-carnitine.
This compound helps increase sperm production and enhances sperm motility because of the above properties.
L-carnosine
It is a natural component of human tissue and a strong water-soluble antioxidant.
L-carnosine also increases the effect of fat-soluble antioxidants such as α-tocopherol.
In the experiment neutralizes heavy metals and prevents poisoning of the body with various toxins.
L-carnosine has been shown to protect the reproductive system from harmful influences, stimulate spermatogenesis and improve sperm motility.
Selenovit-S (organic form of selenium)
Selenovit-S is an optimal source of selenium and uses inactive whole yeast cells (Saccharomycescerevisae), also known as baker’s yeast, which transform inorganic selenium into organically bound selenium during fermentation.
Helenium in its natural food-organic form is the most absorbed by the human body.
Selenium is an essential trace mineral involved in the entire life cycle from conception to aging and is an integral part of several hormones and enzymes associated with virtually all human organs and systems.
Selenium is a potent antioxidant whose main role is to inhibit the process of lipid oxidation and protect cells from the damaging effects of free radicals.
In the experiment is able to protect spermatogenesis in acute and chronic intoxication. It has a strong synergistic effect with vitamins A and E, reducing their breakdown, while reducing the body’s need for these vitamins.
Selenium is necessary for the normal functioning of the sexual system of men.
The use of selenium in its organic form is the most physiological, provides a gradual, independent of the content of vitamins absorbed in the intestine and equal content of this trace element in the blood plasma for a long time (creates a depot of selenium in the body).
Glycyrrhizaglabra
The roots and rhizomes of licorice contain glycyrrhizic acid and flavonoids, which together have antiviral, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, immunomodulatory and tonic action.
Glycyrrhizic acid inhibits the activity of the clotting system component – thrombin, including that present in sperm and involved in the process of thickening of the ejaculate, has mucolytic action.
(Thinner sputum), stimulates production of the hormone secretin, which helps to thin the secretions of the pancreatic ducts, biliary tracts and Brunner’s glands.
Zinc lactate
It is the lactic acid form of zinc that is most easily absorbed in the digestive tract.
Zinc is a vital trace element that can be found in almost any tissue in the body.
Zinc is absolutely essential for cellular respiration, oxygen utilization, reproduction of genetic material (DNA and RNA), maintaining the integrity of cell walls and neutralizing free radicals.
Zinc is present in all organs and tissues of the human body, including the testicles, testicular appendages, prostate gland and is present in significant quantities in semen.
Zinc is one of the most important trace elements for normal functioning of the male reproductive system because it initiates and maintains production of the male sex hormone testosterone and activates spermatogenesis.
Zinc activates glutathione peroxidase, which is essential for normal maturation and motility of sperm, and also participates in the regulation of the activity of other enzymes of the sperm plasma and helps regulate the coagulation and thinning of the ejaculate.
Zinc deficiency often develops when this trace element is increasingly excreted under the influence of stress, electromagnetic radiation (when working at a computer, staying close to a television set for a long time, etc.), as well as under the influence of toxic substances, heavy metals, pesticides and other environmental pollution.
Zinc and Vitamin A are biochemically interdependent: Vitamin A promotes the absorption of zinc, and without zinc, Vitamin A cannot be absorbed.
The simultaneous use of Zn and vitamin A is important in male infertility and spermatogenesis abnormalities caused by various factors such as infectious diseases, occupational diseases and ionizing radiation.
Vitamin E (tocopherol)
It is an important element of the antioxidant system: it prevents damage to cell walls by neutralizing hydrogen peroxide and other reactive oxygen species and is necessary for the growth of new cells, for the normal functioning of the immune system.
It has been proven that taking vitamin E reduces the “severity” of oxidative stress in testicular tissue, increases sperm motility and positively affects their ability to penetrate the egg.
Vitamin E has a synergistic effect with retinol and with selenium, i.e., when taken together, these substances show a pronounced effectiveness at lower doses than when taken alone, due to the mutual prevention of oxidation (destruction) both in the gut and in the tissues.
Vitamin A (retinol)
An important link in the antioxidant system that protects cell membranes from oxidation, affects protein synthesis and supports reproductive function.
The presence of vitamin A in seminal fluid is also necessary for normal spermatogenesis and maintaining sperm motility.
It improves the absorption of zinc and increases its antioxidant effect.
