Indications

Due to the complex composition the use of Aevit is prescribed in a number of diseases. Therapy with the use of Aevit is prescribed to patients who, for various reasons, need prolonged intake of large amounts of E and A vitamins.

According to the instructions of Aevit, it is necessary and justified in a number of cases: – impaired microcirculation and tissue trophicity;

– vascular atherosclerosis;

– endarteritis obliterans;

– psoriasis, red lupus;

– optic nerve atrophy, “chicken blindness” (gemeralopia), keratomalacia, xerophthalmia, retinitis pigmentosa;

The use of Aevit is also indicated for those patients who have limited diet and reduced intake of A and E vitamins naturally, in such diseases and conditions: Diarrhea; gastrectomy; steatorrhea; Crohn’s disease, malabsorption, celiac disease; cholestasis in the chronic stage, obstructive jaundice, obstructive biliary tract, liver cirrhosis; pancreatic disease – cystic fibrosis; infections in acute and chronic condition; malnutrition, rapid weight loss (often Aevit vitamins are prescribed to those who are on parenteral nutrition – to make up for the lack of retinol and alpha-tocopherol acetate) alcohol, nicotine, drug addiction prolonged stress; use of drugs, minerals that contain iron (e.g., neomycin, colestyramine, colestipol) a diet that causes an increased intake of fatty polyunsaturated acids; hyperthyroidism peripheral neuropathy; abetalipoproteinemia; necrotizing myopathy.

How to take, the dosage

Adults take 1 capsule a day with meals, with 1/2 to 1 cup of liquid.

The duration of treatment is 1 month.

If necessary the intake can be repeated 3-4 times a year.

Contraindications

1. individual intolerance to the constituent vitamins in Aevit;

2. thyrotoxicosis, chronic glomerulonephritis, and chronic circulatory failure;

3. Myocardial infarction, risk of thromboembolism, severe atherosclerosis of coronary arteries, acute and chronic inflammation of the kidneys (Aevit is prescribed, but with great caution)
