Adenoprosin, rectal 29 mg 10 pcs

The active ingredient in the drug ADENOPROSIN ^® is a biomass obtained from the larvae of gypsy moth (Lymantria dispar) insects, which has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.

Biologically active components of the drug decrease formation of phospholipase A2 and release of arachidonic acid with reduction of PG and LT synthesis (inhibit 5-lipoxygenase). The drug reduces capillary permeability, decreases prostatic edema, improves microcirculation in the prostate.

The action of the preparation ADENOPROSIN ^® is shown through pathogenetic and non-specific mechanisms.

Adenoprosin® improves urodynamic parameters already during the first days after the drug administration (increases value of maximum urine flow volume, decreases duration of urination, reduces amount of residual urine) and overall condition of patients with BPH and chronic prostatitis (reduces index of chronic prostatitis, leucocyte content in prostate secretion, improves uniformity of its echostructure).

The preparation regulates the tone and peristalsis of the lower segments of the urinary tract reducing frequency of urination, including at night time and reducing dysuria, the feeling of incomplete emptying of the bladder and stress during urination. The antioxidant effect of the drug ADENOPROSIN ^® is expressed by inhibition of lipid peroxidation through antioxidant water-soluble compounds of the drug.

Benign prostatic hyperplasia;

Chronic prostatitis (in combination therapy).

Directions for use

Rectally, 1 sup. Once a day (preferably at night at the same time).

The duration of treatment is 1 to 3 months depending on the intensity of inflammation in the prostate and severity of symptoms of BPH, as well as their combination.

The course of treatment may be repeated if necessary.

Special Instructions

The drug should be used after defecation or enema. It is recommended that the patient should lie down for 30-40 minutes after injecting the drug.

Impact on the ability to drive vehicles, machinery. No effect.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug;

Acute urinary retention;

Prostate malignancy;

Phildren under 18 years of age.

Side effects

Gastrointestinal disorders: rarely – diarrhea or frequent stools; itching in the anal area.

Possible allergic reactions, general weakness.
