Pharmacological action – antioxidant, immunomodulatory, antiviral.
It is an inducer of endogenous interferon, which explains one of the mechanisms of specific antiviral action. It has a radioprotective effect, regulates the water-salt balance, stimulates corneal regeneration processes and has no teratogenic, mutagenic and embryotoxic effect.

How to take, the dosage
Topically: inject into the conjunctival sac 1-2 drops 3-8 times a day.
After clinical recovery continue instillation 2 drops 3 times a day for 7 days.
Interaction
In combination with modified nucleosides (acyclovir, ganciclovir, fludarabine phosphate, etc.) and antibiotics the therapeutic effect is increased. Do not use simultaneously with sulfonamide drugs (albucid), with Encad when used topically.
Special Instructions
Actipol should not be administered simultaneously with sulfonamide drugs for topical use.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the drug.
Side effects
Rarely, conjunctival hyperemia, local allergic reactions.
Overdose
There is no risk of unwanted side effects if Aktipol is accidentally ingested.
Pregnancy use
Till now there are no data from clinical trials concerning the use of the drug during pregnancy, lactation, and in children. However, the drug can be used if the expected benefits exceed the possible risks.
