Systain, eye drops 15 ml

Sistain is an ophthalmic topical treatment which has a moisturizing effect. Systein reduces the discomfort caused by insufficient eye moisture, eliminates itching, burning and a feeling of sand in the eyes.

Systein is inert and has no chemical and mechanical effect on the mucous membrane.
After putting Systein drops into the eyes the product forms a polymer film which reduces fluid evaporation from the eye surface and protects the eyes.

The action of Systein develops quickly and lasts for the whole day.
The drug has no systemic action and is eliminated with the tears.

Indications

Relieving symptoms of dry and irritated eyes:

for contact conjunctivitis (from dust, wind, cosmetics, smoke, dry (due to air conditioning) air, ultraviolet radiation, chlorinated water),
due to taking certain medications,
“dry eye syndrome”.

Used to reduce irritation and dryness of the eye mucosa in patients using contact lenses.

Special instructions

Do not touch the pipette tip of the vial as this may contaminate the solution.

USE IN PREGNANCY AND LACTATION
The safety and effectiveness of use during pregnancy and lactation have not been studied. It can be used during pregnancy and lactation as prescribed by the attending physician, if the expected effect exceeds the risk of developing possible side effects.

APPLICATION IN PEDIATRICS
Use in children under 18 years of age is not recommended, as the safety and effectiveness of use in children have not been established.

WARNINGS
Follow the recommendations of your ophthalmologist and instructions for use. If you continue to experience discomfort, watery eyes, changes in vision, or red eyes, please consult your doctor.

Contraindications

Individual hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Storage conditions

At room temperature, out of the reach of children.

Keep the bottle tightly closed.

Do not use the solution after the expiration date stated on the package.
Do not use the solution for more than 6 months after first opening the bottle.

Shelf life

2 years, after opening the bottle – 6 months.
