How to take, the dosage

About 10 g (6 sachets) of Hypericum herb is placed in an enamel bowl, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water, cover, heat on a boiling water bath with periodic stirring for 15 minutes, cooled at room temperature for 45 minutes, strain, squeeze the remaining raw material.

The volume of the resulting infusion bring boiled water to 200 ml.

Warm oral intake is 1/2 cup 3 times a day 30 minutes before a meal. The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks.

For gargles use 1/2 cup of warm infusion 3-4 times a day. The course of treatment is 5-10 days.

It is recommended to shake the infusion before use.

Interaction

When coadministration of Hypericum preparations with cyclosporine, warfarin, steroid drugs, antiviral agents – reverse transcriptase inhibitors (amprenavir, indinavir, ifavirenz, nevirapine, nelfinavir, ritonavir, saquinavir);

Special Instructions

It has been suggested that St. John’s wort in high concentrations can damage reproductive cells.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug.
